  • we’re celebrating a very special birthday this week. yes, that’s right, my hair turns 1 this week! a year ago this week, i got my last real haircut. there has been a little trimming along the way, but it’s pretty much been allowed to grow since then.
  • a nice 3-day weekend. we decided to take friday off for no good reason and spend it doing absolutely nothing. i highly recommend it.
  • our easter tradition. praying at the church of baja fresh. this was also our first meal eaten out together in over a month.
  • we spent the majority of the weekend refinishing an old desk. and five or six trips to home depot later, we’re almost done.
  • this dude put his own art up in NYC’s most famous museums.
  • maybe at some point in my life, i’ll be able to afford a bespoke suit. and if i can, i’m letting this guy make it for me.
  • this flickr gallery or transparent screen background images is very cool. oh, and if you can’t get enough of food photos, check out every food photo on flickr. currently, over 28,000 of them.
  • y’z dock let’s us pc users have a mac-style launcher. yes, i’m a bit enamored with macs these days.
  • how the hell did i get suckered into watching american idol? at least there’s some hope for the office.
  • finally watching the last two episodes of unscripted.
  • musicbrainz is an amazing application that uses it’s vast library of songs’ digital signatures to identify and correctly tag, categorize, and rename all of your music files. so for all of you with those tracks labeled “unknown artist – unknown song”, this is your fix. it went through my entire 5000+ song library in about an hour and only missed a couple hundred tracks (most of which were live or completely random stuff). highly recommended, and free.
