  • a nice relaxing weekend in CT. featuring parades and carnivals!
  • there’s something really cool about a neighborhood pizzeria. you know, the kind where the guys behind the counter know everyone who walks in, joking with everyone, having a good time, and turning out some really really great pizza. armando’s pizzeria in cambridge is our place.
  • “do you think they know that they’re fat and disgusting?”
  • have i really gotten that old? am i that out of touch with today’s youth? yesterday on our drive home, we listened to american top 40. a bunch of the top songs, i had never even heard of. and they were just awful. i mean “turn the station because this is hurting my ears” awful. and then we tried to watch the mtv VMA’s last night. they were almost unwatchable.who are these people? and i can’t understand anything they’re saying half the time. and was there even a stage, or a host? and were the only celebrities there beyonce, jay-z, and p. diddy? because those are the only people that they showed over and over and over. i remember i used to actually look forward to watching these things. man, i do sound like an old man.
  • you know what’s fun? getting a flat tire on the mass pike. you know what’s even more fun. having two more people get into an accident because they’re watching my car being towed.
  • photoblogs.org. the sites here put mine to shame. but vote for mine as a favorite anyways
  • my giant AC from the old apartment is coming home this week
  • the sox and their usual late-august surge. always getting our hopes up, only to crush them in october. maybe this year will be different
  • we booked our anniversary trip to montreal. anyone have any good recommendations?
  • this week marks 5 months since i’ve had a haircut
  • we made another batch of the back eddy famous house pickles
  • we stole basil and cucumbers from susanne’s parents’ neighbors’ garden. they’re on vacation. but we left the zucchini flowers.
