• don’t eat too many cherries. it does bad things
• the great hair experiment: week 4.
• i’m loving the sopranos. and the fact the the title of this past week’s episode is “long term parking”. brilliant.
• we did a lot of good cooking last week

• ben sherman shirts. at a deep discount. although these are the shirts that 10 years from now, i’ll be looking at and wondering what the hell i was thinking.
• eating baja at a mall in CT. and it was every bit as good as every other place we’ve had it. man, they have it down to a science at that company
• otto. and the asparagus with pecorino, and the artichokes a la romana, and the pizza with ramps, and the one with fennel and bottarga. i love this place
• the union square greenmarket
• apparently, it’s possible to spend $11 on mustard
• the great hair experiment of 2004 rolls on into it’s 3rd week
• ramps. they’re so fricking good. get ‘em while you can.
• susanne finally has golf clubs. now maybe she can whup my ass. yes, i said maybe.
• say what you will, but a lot of that justin timberlake album is pretty damn good

• a lunchtime bombshell
• cheryl and dav’s engagement party. with all 8000 of his italian cousins. i think at the wedding, i’ll be known as “that red sox fan with the pink shirt.”

• the second annual carpenter/charbonneau mother’s day brunch. despite the rain.
• a return to east coast grill
• christina’s ice cream
• the lunchtime meeting about “shopping guy” at work on friday
• showbiz moms and dads. like watching a train wreck.
• i accidentally knocked the plug out of tivo right before the OC season finale. we left, came home a couple of hours later to a tv just showing snow. we were not happy campers
• but thanks to the wonders of bittorrent, we were able to watch it friday night. why did no one tell me about this before?
• not that i support it, but you can download lots of other stuff using bittorrent. but don’t tell anyone that you found that out from me. i am happily using the itunes music store
• the friends series finale sorta blew. as i expected
• the OC season finale, however, was awesome!
• we’re like celebrities now at formaggio. and susanne’s dad definitely enjoyed his visit there.
• i now wear $6.50 sunglasses
• i don’t care what the judges say (or the fact that we didn’t actually hear the other bands), fooled by april should have won the wbcn rock and roll rumble

• dan is now a doctor. although he’s still not allowed to check me for a hernia
• my new clippers. who knew that clippers weren’t actually supposed to hurt?
• the best damn burger i’ve ever eaten. even if it was a turkey burger
