  • regina’s on friday night. i had a mean craving for pizza after watching about 40 shows about it last week. and i needed the real deal. i needed patsy’s or grimaldi’s or difara’s. but we live in cambridge, so that wasn’t going to happen. especially with the whole 95 South debacle in connecticut. So we fought throught the Fleet Center traffic to go to regina’s. and waited the half hour in line. and ordered the usual: large cheese, well done. and a pitcher of moretti. 15 minutes later, the pizza arrived. charred, smoky, cheesy, and perfect.
  • after noticing that our check was all greasy and crumpled, we thought to look at the time printed on it. it was marked “17:20″. that would be 5:20pm. we were there around 9:30pm. it wasn’t our check. the waitress was either too lazy to go print up a new one, or she just wanted to pocket the entire check. but it was close enough.

  • as evidenced by both my mom and sally cunningham playing the new norah jones album over and over on repeat, i’m convinced that every woman in the town of hingham was issued a copy of this in the mail.
