- regina’s on friday night. i had a mean craving for pizza after watching about 40 shows about it last week. and i needed the real deal. i needed patsy’s or grimaldi’s or difara’s. but we live in cambridge, so that wasn’t going to happen. especially with the whole 95 South debacle in connecticut. So we fought throught the Fleet Center traffic to go to regina’s. and waited the half hour in line. and ordered the usual: large cheese, well done. and a pitcher of moretti. 15 minutes later, the pizza arrived. charred, smoky, cheesy, and perfect.
- after noticing that our check was all greasy and crumpled, we thought to look at the time printed on it. it was marked “17:20″. that would be 5:20pm. we were there around 9:30pm. it wasn’t our check. the waitress was either too lazy to go print up a new one, or she just wanted to pocket the entire check. but it was close enough.
- mark’s ode to the butcher
- finally catching up on our tivo watching
- i bought another suit. after returning the first one.
- my dad called our house at 7am this morning asking for a tee time for saturday
- homemade potato gnocchi
- grilled squid on the grill. not quite lo guaraccino, but pretty good. although i almost gave both of us food poisoning by not cooking them long enough at first.
- it’s always fun when we have a power outage at work. try getting anything done without a computer.
- for the first time ever, i went out and bought jelly bellys. i usually get them from my parents for valentines day, and we’ve been getting them for other holidays now. i started bringing them to work, and i think i’m getting addicted to them. so i had run out of the v-day supply, and i had to go to cvs to get more. i’m pathetic
- i want to know some one named Feech
- as if i need another one of these to read, but this one actually has summaries and links to most of the ones that i read.
- our monthly visit to baja fresh and marshalls. we somehow have all of this credit to use there, and we just can’t seem to find anything to buy. i think we might have to eventually leave it to our kids in our will.
- as evidenced by both my mom and sally cunningham playing the new norah jones album over and over on repeat, i’m convinced that every woman in the town of hingham was issued a copy of this in the mail.
