- 3 celebrity sightings: miranda from sex and the city, one of the guys from spin city, and jason biggs.
- vinnie is doing some good negociating. hopefully, it finishes up this week.
- our new “laundry center” arrives this week.
- 4:30am wakeup calls
- i used steve’s Rio Riot for a week. that thing is pretty sweet. too bad the little FM transmitter i bought to use in the car sucks.
- the one thing NYC doesn’t have is great burritos.

- i think i’m finally back to using my netspace email. bye bye hotmail.
- i didn’t get nearly as much crap as i expected regarding the susanne sitchie.
- penang on friday night with d-man. lots of food, beers, and sake.
- d-man’s drug rep buddy jumping through the open windows at west street grille in order to avoid the lines.
- i think i rebroke my foot. but that’s not a good thing.
- walking into franklin cafe at 7:30 on saturday night, and not having to wait for a table. i love the summer months at restaurants.
- my first visit to whiskey park. no sign of cindy crawford anywhere.
- one of the most productive sundays ever. even though after waking up at 8:30, having breakfast and reading the oaper, i fell asleep for another hour, face down on my bed. i guess i needed more sleep
- we’ve been waiting for the maintainance guy to fix the door in front of our washer/dryer for about a month and a half now. i got sick of waiting, so i went to home depot, bought the new parts, and installed it myself. i am a man, dammit. with tools. i can fix things. although the door now open in the other direction. oh well, change is good.
- i put linux on my old computer. it works. i can now log into it from anywhere. and can now access my netspace account from it. not that any of you care, but it’s a big deal to me.
- i am going to buy one of the new PC friendly ipods when they come out in august.
- d-man’s zucchini. he bought an extra burrito from anna’s to bring for lunch today. i told him that if he forgot to take it to work, i’d take it and eat it. trying to be a funny guy, he wrapped a zucchini in tin foil, put it in the bag, and left it in the fridge for me. come on, i’m not that dumb. i know what an anna’s burrito feels like. i think he just got tired of carrying the zucchini around in his pants.
- steve and i went running on monday night and got caught in a torrential thunderstorm. it was really cool. and probably really stupid since i had a cold and a still healing broken foot.

- coming clean…
- jon and carolyn’s pool.
- the b-side lounge and fooled by april @ the skybar on friday night. the last 4 times i’ve been to the b-side, i’ve had the same waitress. she sort of looks like drew barrymore, but bigger.
- the return of steve and lisa.
- d-man’s got too many women and lots of weird clothes going on right now.
- sunday afternoon’s on yin’s roof. followed by a little grilling action and J.P. licks

- the red hot chili peppers by the way. although it was the hardest album ever to download. i think the record companies are starting to get smart.
- i can’t remember the last time i had a haircut.
- ok, i’ll admit it. i watch american idol. although i spend most of the time cringing.
- black raspberry frozen yogurt with chocolate jimmies is my favorite flavor of all time. and yes, i said jimmies dammit.
- i finally got our external DSL modem and router setup working. so now i can VPN into work from home. goodbye snowy commutes.
- walking into Artu at 8:30 on saturday night, and getting the best table in the place without waiting
- i saw my old hebrew school teacher twice in the past week. i’m pretty sure she was the most evil woman ever

- the 4 day weekend.
- a not so unexpected visitor for the 4th
- yin’s rooftop 4th of july fiesta. with a perfect view of the fireworks.
- after 3 months of injury, i started running again
- hippy
- chauncey creek lobster pier in kittery pointe maine. BYO and my 2.5 pound lobster. good eats. and to add to the greatness, we didn’t have to wait for a table, and we got the best parking spot in the joint.
- completing my all-american weekend, going to the sox game on sunday.
- counting crows, hard candy
- i have a lot of hair on my head right now. and it’s doing funky things. and i like it.
- oh yeah. steve-o got into HBS. all carpenters will now be living in the same state.

- rooftop grilling with jon, carolyn, and their puppy, abby. that thing is a total chick magnet.
- frozen grapes
- ben folds five, the complete sessions at west 54th DVD
- for the next couple of days, i will be calling daniele by the name pukey.

- the last 3 fridays, i’ve left work by 3:30. i wonder how long i can keep that streak going?
- the joseph franklin country allstars @ the kendall cafe. utterly rocking and hilarious
- the curry ga at saigon grille in NYC. i get the same thing every time i go there. i just can’t help it. but i’m pissed that they moved another 3 blocks away.
- cafe con leche. good cuban food for cheap.
- chinese bubble tea
- seeing dan and drew in the city together for the first time in a while.
- an unexpected afternoon in Rye, NY

- there will be more engagements in the next 6 months. i predict at least 3.
- drew likes to dance now. and i’m not talking fake-dancing. real dancing.

- the ocean’s eleven soundtrack. so cool. makes you feel almost as cool as george clooney or brad pitt, but lacking the fame, fortune, good looks, or screaming female fans.
