- zon’s
- norah jones come away with me
- the traditional summer meal in hingham. grilled everything. corn, asparagus, sprimp, flank steak. and fruit and sorbet and blueberry cake for dessert. i could eat that meal every day of my life.
- walking around barefoot in the grass. sometimes living in the city, you forget how nice the burbs can be.
- driving with the windows and sunroof down. even on the highway
- pay per view movies: ocean’s 11, not another teen movie, spygame
- tom’s band playing at the paradise on saturday. and joey mckintyre was playing the back room. lots of new kids fans there.
- the power went out at work on friday afternoon. there’s nothing we can do, so i just left. perfect for a friday afternoon.
- cajun power
- and yes, for those wondering, i ate the flank steak.
- sea bass. although i was really in the mood for tuna.
- d-man and his hair. in a couple more weeks, it will look like a mullet. business in the front, party in the back.

- reading, PA is a scary place. i’ve never seen a town with such a large number of hair salons and tatoo parlors.
- walking into maria’s bar in reading, PA at 10:30AM, and seeing it completely filled, full of smoke, and not a word of english spoken. ultra sketchy.
- a week of good dining. franklin cafe (without a wait for a table), east coast grill, and actually good wedding food.
- open bars
- millburg managed to show up on time, had a suit, didn’t lose the rings, and didn’t embarrass anyone with his toast.
- there was a guy at the reception drinking wine straight out of the bottle. i didn’t feel so bad after that.
- jamie and bronwen’s wedding. and nobody got ridiculously embarasssingly drunk. except for some parents.
- yinner giving us spare keys to his new place. and i still expect him at our place for dinner most nights.
- serious spring/summer cleaning. i threws tons of crap out yesterday.
- i met a girl at the wedding from LA. of course she knew the one person i know in LA, Joel.
- restored salaries
- drew and kate got engaged. this is the first of the 3-4 predicted engagements in the next year. who’s next?
