- ok, so i watched some of the winter olympics. short track speed skating rules. sort of reminds me of roller derby
- shabu shabu at shabu zen in chinatown
- chocolate fondue at the b-side lounge
- pearl harbor is on 3 pay per view channels at a time, 24-hours a day. and i refuse to EVER watch it. EVER.
- fooled by april at the kendall cafe
- thanks to the incredible power of shoe goo, my flip flops will last another 8 years.
- yin has started every conversation for the last 2 weeks with the phrase “that’s right” spoken with a southern accident. i don’t even think he realizes that he’s doing it anymore.
- watching bendy girls in spandex for an hour and a half, um, i mean yoga. i have gotten very bendy over the past year+ that i’ve been doing it. the teacher actually uses my as an example for certain things. except when she tries to make me do hard things and drops me on my head.
- the band spanking new virgin megastore on mass ave. i spent an hour in there on saturday listening to different stuff. they have these listening stations set up where youcan listen to pretty much every CD is in the store. sort of like morpheus, but slightly faster and legal. plus, they had the regular listening stations set up with good tunes including hey mercedes, the get up kids, death cab for cutie, pete yorn, and tons more.
- for those of you looking for early birthday presents for me, here is what i want. oh, and a 3 megapixel digital camera.

- it’s amazing how little i care about the olymipic winter games. i just want to watch the skeleton and see those guys mangle themselves.
- family dinner at tosca on saturday night
- kumamoto oysters
- pay-per-view guilty pleasure of the week: the fast and the furious. some people may argue that freddie prinze jr. is this generation’s keannu, but my vote is for paul walker. an absolutely awful actor.
- my new routine of 300+ pushups every night. dude, i’m gonna be HUGE. right.
- i’m unwilling to give up on my flip flops that i’ve had since freshman year in college. i love those things, and i just need some heavy duty epoxy or krazy glue to fix them. they will live for another 8 years, dammit.
- somebody please explain to me why nobody has opened a gourmet pizza place in the south end? gay men love good pizza and are willing to pay good money for it.
- why am i so fascinated by reality tv shows? the real world, mtv cribs (ok, i’d hardly call this reality, but you know what i mean), project greenlight, and a new favorite, the It Factor on bravo. i guess my life is just that boring. in march, mtv is going to start showing a reality show about ozzie osbourne’s family. hell yes i’ll be watching. why? i have no idea
- i’ve recently been downloading loads of songs of bands that various friends like or that i’ve read about or are on the billboard “college” or “on the edge” charts and i’ve never heard. i then burn them all onto a cd and listen to them at work. a great way to discover new tunes. i just listened to burning airlines followed by pink, followed by pedro the lion followed by fountains of wayne. try to find that on a real radio station
- this site kept me occupied at work for a week
- my boss is on vacation this week. it’s not like a see him more than once or twice a week, but it still feels like when you had a substitute teacher in elementary school.
- homemade tazo or oregon chai. beats going to starbucks and paying $4 for one
- it took me 20 minutes to do my taxes using turbotax.
- i finally watched shrek

- my knee treatment is pretty much over. it’s settlement time!
