- new burns this week: the weezer demos, fountains of wayne, ozma, starsailor, weakerthans
- jon now takes digital pictures of his meals
- other guilty pleasures/just plain bad movies watched on pay-per-view this swordfish, legally blonde, a knights tale
- according to the doctor, i don’t need surgery on my knee. but my knees still hurt.
- i ran back to back days for the first time in 4 months
- i have to get my wisdom teeth out (ok, that’s not really a good thing)
- the front of my hair has inexplicably turned a shade of reddish-orange. no joke.

- the strokes on SNL. those guys are one funny looking band

- getting a radom email from my old EN164 TA, Hyun Yun. i think he’s looking for a job. he can have mine.

- the new balance factory store. i love that place.
- getting caught by both my mom and kirstin. the lies slowly start to unravel…

- i really need to see this movie.
- buying my first item on ebay. it will greatly reduce our cable bills…
- the chamber, probably the dumbest show i’ve ever seen, although it was immensly unintentionally funny and amusing for the first 10 minutes. this is a show where they strap someone into a chair, put them in a chamber, and blast them with flames, wind, vibrations, intense heat and cold, cut the oxygen supply, and spin them around, all the while asking them trivia questions.

- salvaging my lost phoenix trip with a week in NYC.
- i think i ate non-stop for 2 full weeks.
- jon finally making his ultimate tuscan meal.
- xmas day at the shu’s. every jew should eat chinese food that good on xmas.
- steve getting into the fletcher school. all 3 carpenter boys will be living in the same state for the first time since ‘93.
- pastis
- a phone call from daveg. i thought that kid had fallen off the face of the earth. he reminded me about the term “nis”.
- holiday visits from salila, missa, butler, and mark and maureen.
- the now-yearly encounter with chrissy-o.
- new year’s in NYC on the rooftop of a ridiculous apartment in lincoln center
- jay got engaged
- getting an unexpected “there’s no yawning in baseball”
- a very interesting discussion with tom and d at clery’s
- saigon grille at w. 87 and broadway
- finally, after over 3 months, running again. but for the record, my knees are still screwed up.
- danny and i hitting indian and then chinese buffets in consecutive days
- anthony bourdain, a cooks tour
- frank abagnale, catch me if you can. what an incredible story about one of the biggest con artists in U.S. history. this guy, at various times, pretended to be a pan am pilot, a doctor overseeing a floor of a hospital, an assistant attorney general, and a college sociology professor, while cashing over $2.5 million dollars worth of bad checks, all before the age of 21.

- i haven’t watched a single episode of survivor all season, and i’mok with that
- mtv cribs was on non-stop all weekend. i can’t stop watching that show. totally addictive.
